Surf Talk in Bundoran
And as for those men
whose words ping-ponged off walls of foam
Heroic belly scratchers
great pouting chaps, hallelujahs of mankind
statuesque on the elbows of Atlas.
In the rattle of whose heads
catastrophic brains cells
joust for territory over oceans of skull-space
vast and roaming wind-breaks
bronzed words rip-curled into gold
insights spectacularly formed
breaking like white water
in the shallows of the blue-eyed mind.
